Helene attended her first Toastmaster meeting at West Carleton in June of 2010. It was a Humerous Speech Contest, and she knew right away this would be the club for her! Although the atmosphere is fun and entertaining, Helene has found Toastmasters a great environment for learning and personal growth. Since joining, her speaking skills have improved dramatically, and she is more confident in both her personal and professional life. Each week brings rewards and challenges that make Mondays something to look forward to!
